At the same time, having a project that you can be proud of and that exceeds the client’s expectations is richly rewarding. The icing on the cake is being honored by a jury of well respected peers for the completed projects that have culminated from this process. Click to Read More

L|F represented at TEDxSA 2012

Posted by on 10/18/12 at 09:25am

TEDxSanAntonio brought 22 presenters to a stage at Trinity this past Saturday, and I left with my brain completely full. Topics included unplugging youth at summer camp, getting volunteer work to “add up,” respecting bacteria, and even group drumming to end the day. Plus, our own L|F partner Bob Harris gave a beautiful talk entitled “Beauty, Place, and the Environmental Imperative,” weaving together nature, architecture, and our essential human needs. All this happened in front of a backdrop that a group of L|Fers designed! Click to Read More

Throughout my teenage years, I would wake up on a Sunday, roll out of bed and stroll down the road to one of the markets. Pink, green and white tents would pop up in every available corner of the high street – the road Click to Read More

Flake|Lato 2012

Posted by on 9/19/12 at 11:16am

So if the pool party at Greg’s house represents the unofficial beginning of summer, Flake|Lato represents its unofficial end. Flake|Lato is the annual retreat the office takes to Ted’s family ranch located at the headwaters of the Nueces River 120 miles west of San Antonio. The ranch provides an idyllic location for employees to gather with their families to enjoy one another’s company while eating, drinking and frolicking in the clear, cool spring-fed water.
