LF SAYS GOODBYE TO INTERN JORDAN TSAI

Posted by on 6/19/15 at 11:11am

LF will miss our Jack-of-all-Trades-Jordan. Known for his late night creativity that often kept him up into the wee hours and made him rush in at 11 a.m., Jordan had no shortage of energy to offer towards any task. In addition to helping build models or work on miscellaneous tasks for multiple other projects around the office, Jordan’s time was spent accompanying our Confluence Park team in the design of a unique pavilion that challenged Lake|Flato to charter into new territories. His exploratory spirit, strong work ethic and creative energy will take him far – no matter what time of day they arrive!

Jordan will be sorely missed as he heads back to Boston to finish grad school. A gracious fellow, Jordan frequently gave a helping hand to those in need – whether at work with a project, or at an after hours downtown office celebration, helping to search for a “lost” car (merely one more street down!) in the rain. Quite an imaginative character, Jordan exhibited a curiosity that often inspired long (sometimes six-hour-straight-long) conversations composed upon design theory, refined food ingredients, current events, and culture. Such sessions always yielded an energized and exhilarating concoction of high intellect and deep cognition, consistent with Jordan’s commitment to maximum efficiency in all things – even casual discourse. To that end, I’ll be concise in summary by saying that all of us at LF will miss Jordan and wish him all the best!
