Hometown: Plano, Texas

Alma Mater: University of Texas at Arlington – Masters in Architecture

Favorite LF project: El Cosmico

Current LF project you’re working on: All of them!

Hobbies: Planting pumpkins in public spaces in the dead of night only to have them ripped out by groundskeepers once they get big…

Interesting fact about yourself: I’ve recorded what color shirt I’ve worn every day for the last year. It’s mostly blue.

Favorite thing about David Ericsson*: His beard

Emilie Twillingemilie

Hometown: Phoenix, Arizona

Alma Mater: Arizona State University (ASU) – Bachelor in Architecture, minor in Sustainability

Favorite LF project: ASU Polytechnic Academic District

Current LF project you’re working on: The New Witte Museum and some Development Studio projects

Hobbies: Running, traveling and yoga.

Interesting fact about yourself: I was once a lifeguard and spent years coaching a children’s swim team.

Favorite thing about David Ericsson: His laugh!

 

Alastair Birdabird

Hometown: Halifax, Nova Scotia

Alma Mater: University of Ottawa – Bachelors in Philosophy & History; Dalhousie University – Bachelors in Environmental Design and Masters in Architecture

Favorite LF project: Air Barns and Carraro Residence

Current LF project you’re working on: Point Dume Residence

Hobbies: Surfing, fishing, playing guitar and traveling.

Interesting fact about yourself: I once drove a $500 Chevy Astro from Vancouver to South America

Favorite thing about David Ericsson: David’s “frantic calmness”

 

Elijah Lukacelijah

Hometown:  Beaverlodge, Alberta

Alma Mater: University of Alberta – Bachelors in Computer Science (partial); Dalhousie University – Bachelors in Environmental Design and currently pursuing Masters in Architecture

Favorite LF project: The ASU projects and Pearl Brewery

Current LF project you’re working on: Porch House and the University of Maryland Biomedicall Sciences & Engineering Building

Hobbies: Painting, playing music, reading, hiking and building things

Interesting fact about yourself: I can juggle!

Favorite thing about David Ericsson: Sassiness + the fact that he probably just hired me because we both went to Iceland.
